The Inaugural In The Spirit Entertainment National Talent Competition was held on February 27th, 2015 with a red-carpet celebration with Co-host actress Shaquala King, and actress-athlete USA Olympic triple jumper Crystal Manning. The ‘In The Spirit Entertainment National Talent Competition” is an American company that was established by the In The Spirit Entertainment, LLC, visionary and CEO Antoinette Titus, and Co-founder, Terry Staples. This is a reality national talent competition that features comedians, dancers, singers, musicians, mime, poets, and other performers that are independent artist that will compete for prizes and cash to assist in career building. Actor, and CEO of Young Voices United, Nic Star, Author and Playwright, Sylvester Stephens, and Singer, Producer, Antoine Tatum were the original judges for the inaugural show. The opening performance by, Antoine Tatum, and Acoustic guitarist and singer Kelvin Armstrong performed two of his original songs during the event. The overall best performer went to Zaria Hall during the auditions on Friday, February 26th, 2016 and she was chosen to sing to the honoree, In The Spirit Entertainment Lifetime Achievement Award, Attorney Ricky Anderson. The 1st place performance actress Moye Light for her monologue performance. The 2nd place award singer, Sydney Lopes, 3rd place award gospel group, Tiny Foster and the Saints, 4th place Guitarist, and singer Jonah Tyler.
